What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C486 FLORDON ROAD, CREETING ST MARY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C486 Flordon Road, Creeting St Mary from Breheny Office and Oaklands for 100 metres northbound to facilitate electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Flordon Road, Coddenham Road, Kettle Lane, the A140, All Saints Road, the A1120, Jacks Green Road and vice versa.

It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 05/07/2023 -19/07/2023 but, If necessary, the order may remain In force for 18 months (or longer If extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C466 ELM LANE AND HOLLOW ROAD AND THE C467 BACK LANE, COPDOCK AND WASHBROOK

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the:

- C466 Elm Lane, Copdock and Washbrook from Backlane to Wenham Road

- C466 Hollow Road, Copdock and Washbrook from Back Lane to The Myth

- C467 Back Lane, Copdock and Washbrook from the junction with Elm Lane and Hollow Road to the junction with Strickland Close.

This Is to facilitate pole works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Back Lane, The Street, Chapel Lane, London Road, Elm Lane and vice versa

2. Wenham Road, Saxon Lane, Hollow Road and vice versa.

It Is Intended that the closure will operate on 14/07/2023 from 10am - 3pm. If necessary, the order may remain In force for 18 months (or longer If extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 8, STOWMARKET

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 8, Stowmarket from Stowupland Road for 550 metres northbound to enable the construction of a new housing development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. This order continues In force the emergency measures operating since 01/07/2023.

It is intended that the closure will operate until 31/12/2023 (or longer if extended by the Minister).
