What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Peppercorn Orchard, Great Hinton; from its junction with C232 for its entire length to enable Wessex Water to carry out installation of telemetry ducting and bollard and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 25 July 2023 and the closure will be required for 4 days. B) Pitman Avenue (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with A361 for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out access required to carriageway boxes to enable cabling and civil work for provision of new fibre cabling and associated works. Alternative route via A361 - Allen Road - Pitman Avenue (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 July 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. C) B3015 (Part), Staverton and Holt; from its junction with School Lane to its junction with B3106 to enable Wessex Water to install new water main and associated works. Alternative route for HGV via B3105 (unaffected length) - A361 - A350 - A365 - B3109 - B3105 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route for all other vehicles via B3105 (unaffected length) - A361 - A350 - B3107 - B3105 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 July 2023 and the closure will be required until 15 December 2023. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. D) Netherstreet (Part), Bromham; from its property known as Four Wynds for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out works to replace a chamber and other associated works. Alternative route via Netherstreet (unaffected length) - Yard Lane - A342 - Netherstreet (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 July 2023 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600.
E) C250 (Part), Bromham; from its junction with Footpath 41, Bromham for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out works to replace a chamber and other associated works. Alternative route via C250 (unaffected length) - A342 - C242 - C250 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 July 2023 and the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600.
F) C19 (Part), Steeple Ashton; from outside its property known as Woodside Farm for a distance of approximately 250m in a north westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out mains cable and associated works. Alternative route via C19 (unaffected length) - A361 - Leap Gate - B3105 -A350 - C19 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 03 July 2023 and the closure will be required until 23 July 2023. For further information please contact Instalcom on behalf of Scottish and Southern Power Distribution on 07467716220. Orders A) to F) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (NEWTOWN (PART) AND WESLEY ROAD (PART), TROWBRIDGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.28) 2023 (Ref TTRO 8774)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable the installation of new pedestrian crossings and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 24 July 2023 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 3 weeks but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 24 July 2023 and 16 August 2023.

1. Newtown (Part), Trowbridge; from its roundabout junction with A363 to outside its property known as No.34 Newtown.
2. Wesley Road (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with Newtown for a distance of approximately 30m in a south westerly direction. Alternative routes (vice versa) 1. via Newtown (unaffected length) - Frome Road - A361 - A363. 2. No alternative route is available. All works will be published on Wiltshire Council website https://one.network/public when confirmed dates are known.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.22) 2022 (Ref TTRO 8752)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the length of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order, which previously came into operation on 14 November 2022 will now recommence on 03 July 2023. It is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates.
Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 03 July 2023 and 29 September 2023.

1. Ladbrook Lane, Corsham; from its junction with B3353 to its junction with Lacock Road.
2. Dursley Road, North Bradley and Heywood; from its junction with B3097 to its junction with Church Road.

A) Footpath 6, Winsley; from its junction with Footpath 10, Winsley to its junction with Bridleway 8, Winsley.
B) Footpath 16, Winsley; from its junction with Bridleway 8, Winsley to its junction with Footpath 10, Winsley.
C) Bridleway 8 (Part), Winsley; from its junction with Footpath 1, Winsley to its junction with Footpath 10, Winsley to enable construction of access track to Winsley Water Recycling Centre. Alternative route via public rights of way.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 24 July 2023 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 07 August 2023. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
