(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C129 Shield Green Cottages To Cockle Park Junction from its junction with the A1 heading east for a length of 1758 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th July 2023 until the 24th January 2024
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th July 2023 until the 4th August 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1, A192, B1337, C129 and vice-versa.
