U6017 Causey Park Junction To Moor Edge Via Causey Park - Temporary Road Closure

U6017 CAUSEY PARK JUNCTION TO MOOR EDGE VIA CAUSEY PARK
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6017 Causey Park Junction To Moor Edge Via Causey Park from its junction with A697 to 75 metres west of 1 Hagg Cottage for a length of 3645 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th July 2023 until the 10th January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th July 2023 until 21st July 2023 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U6017, A1, C139, A697 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civil and resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
