B6341 BILSMOOR TO THROPTON SHARPERTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341 Bilsmoor To Thropton from its point with Hepple Alnwick District Bridleway 023 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 443 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th July 2023 until the 10th January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th July 2023 until the 28th July 2023 between the hours of 07:30 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6341, U4083, B6342, C195, A696 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council road closure for drainage investigations - new drainage system to replace. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
