Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Quennells Hill (D5302) Farnham.Alternative Route: (A325) Wrecclesham Hill and (B3384) Echo Barn Lane or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of new track, boxes and chamber works for or on behalf of Swish Fibre. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days between the hours of 7am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 July 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
East Street (B3228) Farnham

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of East Street (B3228) Farnham as extends from its junction with (B3228) Dogflud Way to its junction with (B3228) Bear Lane, (A287) The Borough, and (A287) South Street. Alternative Route: (B3228) East Street, (B3007) Hale Road, (A325) Hale Roundabout, (A325) Farnham Road, (A31) Shepherd and Flock Roundabout, (A31) Farnham By-pass, (A31) Coxbridge Roundabout, (B3228) West Street, and (A287) The Borough.This Order is required to facilitate development related works for or on behalf of DeAth Bros Ltd. These works are anticipated to be completed within 3 weeks between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 July 2023.Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
