The Avenue - Temporary Road Closure For Store Equipment

Parish of Yeovil, Temporary Closure of The Avenue
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along The Avenue - from the junction with Higher kingston, northwards for a total distance of 57 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to store equipment to keep Higher Kingston open for hospital.
The Order becomes effective on 6th July 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 10th July 2023 and last until 14th July 2023 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
