C134 HIGH MOOR JUNCTION
TO THIRSTON JUNCTION FELTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C134 High Moor Junction To Thirston Junction from 40 metres west of 1 Bywell Farm Cottages continuing west for a length of 848 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd July 2023 until the 3rd January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd July 2023 until the 14th July 2023 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C134, A1, C137, A697, C133 and vice-versa. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council’s Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at https://one.network (enter the road number and road name). – Ref:133895404.
The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civil repairs and resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
