U6037 Middleton Junction To High Angerton Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U6037 MIDDLETON JUNCTION TO HIGH ANGERTON JUNCTION HARTBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6037 Middleton Junction To High Angerton Junction Hartburn from its junction with the C158 heading south east for a length of 405 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd July 2023 until the 10th July 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd July 2023 until the 5th July 2023 and that it will be closed at all times during this period. However the order will remain in place until the 10th July 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U6037, C156, C158 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by OCU Group on behalf of Northern Power Grid for remedial works, tarmac road crossing and top soil and seed. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
