What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL SAUCHEN – 20MPH SPEED LIMITS

NOTICE is given that on 28/06/23, “The Aberdeenshire Council (Cluny Meadows, Cluny Park & Cluny Gardens) (20mph Speed Limits) Order 2023” has been made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will come into operation on 03/07/23 and will introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following roads in Sauchen.

SAUCHEN

Cluny Meadows – from 262 metres southeast of its junction with Main Street, southeastwards for 194 metres

Cluny Park – for its entire length, a distance of 65 metres

Cluny Gardens – for its entire length, a distance of 472 metres

The original proposals were advertised in the Inverurie Herald on 04/05/23.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of 29/06/23 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
