What is happening?

ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICHThe Greenwich (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. ) Order 202

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to: (a) add the following to a list of ‘car free’ developments which are ineligible for parking permits, unless a resident or business user of that property is a disabled person’s badge holder: (i) No. 35 Woodland Grove, will also be removed from the list of properties eligible for parking permits; (ii) Nos. 20, 22 and 24 (flats 1-6) Westcombe Hill (previously No. 54 Westcombe Hill which is no longer an address), will also be removed from the list of properties eligible for parking permits;3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents can be viewed by emailing parking-design@royalgreenwich.gov.uk (quoting reference 23-06 Car Free Developments). 4. Further information may be obtained by emailing parking-design@royalgreenwich.gov.uk.5. Any person who wishes to object to or make other representations about the proposed Order, should send a statement in writing by 19th July 2023, specifying the grounds on which any objection is made by email to parking-design@royalgreenwich.gov.uk (quoting reference 23-06 Car Free Developments).6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of current access to information legislation, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
