TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (VARIOUS ROADS HILLINGDON BOROUGH) ORDER 2023
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
1. Hillingdon Council gives notice that to enable highway Resurfacing works to take place on various roads listed below and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public it intends to make this Order which will temporarily close;
a) Sutton Court Road, Uxbridge
b) Long Lane, Uxbridge
c) Norfolk Road, Uxbridge
d) Park Road, Uxbridge
e) Trout Road, West Drayton
f) Falling Lane, West Drayton
g) High Street, Yiewsley
h) Bath Road, Longford
i) Field End Road, Ruislip
j) West End Road, Ruilsip
k) Berrydale Road, Hayes
l) Sipson Lane, Hayes
m) Dene Road, Northwood
n) Crane Gardens, Hayes
o) Central Avenue, Hayes
p) Dell Farm Road, Ruislip
q) Pield Heath Road, Uxbridge
r) Park View Road, Uxbridge
s) Cherry Lane, West Drayton
t) North View, Eastcote
u) West Drayton Road, Uxbridge
v) High Road, Ickenham
w) High Road, Eastcote
x) Stockley Road, West Drayton
y) Stanwell Moor Road, Heathrow
2. Nothing in the Order shall apply to prevent vehicular access to premises on or adjacent to the prohibited length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
3. The closures b), d), e), f), g), h), i), j), l), q), r,), s), t), u), v), w), x), y) will be in operation between 20:00 and 05.00 Monday to Fridays, from the 26/07/2023. The closures a), c), k), m), n), o)p) will be in operation between 08:00 and 17.00 Monday to Fridays, from the 11/04/2023 and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. Road users should assume that the closures have been put into effect only if traffic signs have been erected stating that the road has been closed and the diversion route, if necessary is in place.
4. The Order which is proposed will come into operation on 26th July 2023, will continue in force for eighteen months or until work to which it relates is completed. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 30 Weeks.
