(AMUSEMENT PARK CARAVAN SITE, SOUTH SHIELDS) ORDER 2023
On 14 June 2023 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order which comes into operation on 4 July 2023 will INTRODUCE No Waiting At Any Time on Amusement Park Caravan Site: eastern carriageway east side from its junction with (access to) Amusement Park Caravan Site in a northerly direction for a distance of 60m; eastern carriageway west side (i) from a point 20m north of its junction with (access to) Amusement Park Caravan Site in a northerly direction for a distance of 42m (ii) from a point 82m north of its junction with (access to) Amusement Park Caravan Site in a northerly, easterly then southerly direction for a distance of 44m and (iii) from its junction with (access to) Amusement Park Caravan Site in a southerly direction for a distance of 10m and both sides of access road from its junction with Pier Head Car Park in an easterly direction for a distance of 35m. Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 14 June 2023 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
