What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Cressy Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.200) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 29th June 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
CRESSY ROAD
From its junction with Sultan Road to outside No. 4 on both sides.
SULTAN ROAD
From its junction with Wingfield Street to outside Barrington House on both sides.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 29th June 2023 to 3rd July 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
