Roanheads Peterhead - Temporary Road Restrictions
What is happening?
PETERHEAD – TEMPORARY CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council
(Roanheads Peterhead)
(Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order,
2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from
03/07/23 for 7 days and will prohibit any person from
driving on Roanheads, Peterhead at the junction
with North Street. Access will be provided for
emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties
but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of
construction plant to allow safe passage through the
works. The temporary restriction is necessary to ensure public
safety during the installation of a new telecommunications
duct. An alternative route is available via North Street,
Port Henry Road, North East Street, Seagate and vice versa.
