Ring Road Moortown/Roman Avenue, Leeds - Temporary Traffic Restriction
What is happening?
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (Ring Road Moortown/Roman Avenue, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways for no right turns from Roman Avenue into Ring Road Moortown and from Ring Road Moortown to Roman Avenue. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to turn right from Ring Road Moortown into Roman Avenue and to turn right from Roman Avenue to Ring Road Moortown Leeds.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be
available via:
• For travel Eastbound from Ring Road Moortown: Ring Road
Moortown, Park Lane, West Park Crescent, West Park Drive
East, Roman Avenue
• For travel Eastbound from Roman Avenue: Ring Road
Moortown Westbound to roundabout, Ring Road Moortown
Eastbound
Essential access to and from premises and for emergency
vehicles will be maintained.
The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 11th July 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday
26th July 2023.
