U6702 GREEN LANE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6702 Green Lane Ashington for a length of 30 metres, 15 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 2nd July 2023. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 2nd July 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Green Lane, Briardene, Remscheid Way, Black Close Bank, Newbiggin Road, North Seaton Road, Green Lane and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Traffic Management on behalf of Xeiad to allow machinery entry and exit onto the track. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
