WANSBECK TERRACE WEST SLEEKBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 2 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in West Sleekburn in the County of Northumberland.
C403 Wansbeck Terrace heading eastwards from the level crossing for a distance of 20 metres.
C403 Riverbank to Wansbeck Terrace heading westwards from the level crossing for a distance of 20 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th July 2023 until the 10th July 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 21:00 hours on the 8th July 2023 until 05:00 hours on the 10th July 2023 Continuous.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C403, C415 , A189, A1147 and vice-versa.
Access will be provided for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the level crossing.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Traffic Management on behalf of Balfour Beatty to install an under road crossing for cables.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
