THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(WYCLIFFE LANE, BRIDLINGTON (PART))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any
vehicle to proceed along part of Wycliffe Lane, Bridlington
between number 15 and number 17 Wycliffe Lane from
19.00 hours on 27 June 2023 until 06.00 hours on
28 June 2023.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed works
to rectify a highway defect, to be carried out and completed
in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the
public. It is anticipated that the works will be completed
within eleven hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is
via Wycliffe Lane, Wellington Road, Quay Road and Victoria
Road. The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and
for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the
closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 27 June 2023 and continue in
force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
