THE FYLDE BOROUGH (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2007 - AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 6 (2023)
NOTICE OF PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that Fylde Borough Council proposes to make an
Order under the powers contained within sections 32, 33 and 35 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend The Fylde Borough (Off-Street Parking
Places) (Consolidation) Order 2007 (‘the Order’) including Amendment
Orders No.2 (2012) and No.5 (2021). This is to allow for the overnight
parking of motor homes in designated parking bays on Fairhaven Road Car
Park and introduce transferable tickets that are valid across designated longstay car parks and seasonal tariffs on all long-stay car parks as shown under
‘New Charges’ below, but otherwise the existing restrictions in the Order will
continue to apply.

New Charge - All days, Up to 1 day (24hr) 21st March to 31st October
£15.00. 1st November to 20th of March £10.00. 1 to 2 days (24 to 48 hrs)
21st March to 31st October £25.00. 1st November to 20th of March £17.50.
Maximum stay 2 days; no return within 4 days. Motorhomes 7m in length
maximum. Overnight motorhome parking limited to designated bays only.
‘Overnight’ defined as 7pm to 9am the following day.

The reason the Council proposes to make the Order is to address current
off-street parking requirements and the Order shall be known as The Fylde
Borough (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2007 –
Amendment Order No. 6 (2023).
A copy of the proposed Order is available for inspection Monday to Friday
between the times of 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to
4.30pm on a Friday at the Fylde Town Hall, St Annes Road West, St Annes.
Alternatively a copy of the Order can be found on the Council’s web site at
www.fylde.gov.uk.
If you wish to object or make any representations regarding the proposed
changes to the arrangements as detailed above, you should do so in writing,
specifying the grounds on which they are made, addressed to the Technical
Support Manager, Fylde Borough Council, Town Hall, Lytham St Annes,
Lancashire FY8 1LW no later than 14th July 2023.
