Public Footpath No.51 Part - Temporary Footpath Closure

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.51 (PART)
BUXTON

WHEN: 11th July 2023 to 9th January 2024
WHERE: Close public footpath No.51 from 80 metres southwest of the A515 and around Foxlow Farm for 400 metres.
REASON: To enable the housing development to be carried out in accordance with the approved planning permission.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the east, follow the fencing around the southern side of the site to the south side of Foxlow Farm. Vice-versa from the west.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
