Public Notices for Traffic Regulation Orders
The following statutory notices of Intention and Making are hereby served on 22nd June 2023 and authorised by the Head of Highways:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 20th June 2023 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ANDERSEN GATE, SNELSHALL WEST) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1787)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road to enable works to be executed on or near the road:
• Andersen Gate, Snelshall West – From its junction with Snelshall Street to its junction with DS Smith Packaging.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Steinbeck Crescent, Standing Way, Snelshall Street (and vice versa).
The above Order will come into force on 28th June 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRITTEN GROVE, OLD FARM PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1734)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road to enable works to be executed on or near the road:
Britten Grove, Old Farm Park – From the roundabout connecting Britten Grove to Elgar Grove for approximately 25 Meters.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Morley crescent, Elgar Grove (and vice versa).
The above Order will come into force on 26th June 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MOORGATE, LEADENHALL) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1816)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait along the following length of road to enable works to be executed on or near the road:
Moorgate, Leadenhall – Outside the junction of St Paul’s Catholic School for approximately 60 meters.
The above Order will come into force on 26th June 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN MILTON KEYNES) (MILTON KEYNES BOWL CONCERTS 2023) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1802)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following lengths of road because of the likelihood of danger to the public and in the interests of safety and as a means of segregating traffic from pedestrians during the MUSE music concert event being staged at the MK BOWL in Milton Keynes:
Watling Street (V4) – between Elfield Park Roundabout and Knowlhill Roundabout.
Watling Street (V4) – from its junction with H6 Childs Way at Knowlhill Roundabout to its junction with H8 Standing Way at Elfield Park Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) – between Leadenhall Roundabout and Furzton Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) – from its junction with V3 Fulmer Street to its junction with V6 Grafton Street.
Grafton Street (V6) – from its junction with H6 Childs Way [Leadenhall Roundabout] to its junction with South Grafton Roundabout
Grafton Street (V6) – between Leadenhall Roundabout and Bleak Hall Roundabout.
Favell Drive, Elfield Park – from its junction with Barleycroft to its junction with Watling Street.
Bridleway 32, Loughton – from its junction with Chaffron Way to its junction with Spring Rose Way.
Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall – its entire length.
Summerston Road, Bleak Hall – its entire length.
Davy Avenue, Knowlhill – from its junction with Harrison Close to its junction with Chaffron Way
Roebuck Way, Knowlhill – its entire length.
Kelvin Drive, Knowlhill – its entire length.
Harrison Close, Knowlhill – its entire length.
Seebeck Place, Knowlhill – its entire length.
Phoenix Drive, Leadenhall – from its junction with V6 Grafton Street, to its junction with Marine Court.
Chapter, Coffee Hall – from its junction with Grafton Street to its junction with Rochfords.
Shirwell Crescent, Furzton – its entire length.
Parkside, Furzton – from its junction with H8 Standing Way to Favell Drive.
There will also be a one-way traffic system in operation on Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall.
There will be alternative routes on the day of the event that will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Signs Manual.
The above Order will come into force on 26th June 2023.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above traffic regulation order under Sections 14(1) and (4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS AND REDWAYS CENTRAL MILRON KEYNES, BLETCHLEY, BROWNS WOOD, GLEBE FARM, CASTLETHORPE AND OLNEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1800)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following lengths of road and redway to enable works to be executed on or near the road/redway:
Yardley Road / West Street, Olney – From its junction with High Street to its junction with Number 1 Yardley Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Wellingborough Road, Drift Way and Yardley Road, Spring Lane and High Street (and vice versa).
South Street, Castlethorpe – outside 1 – 5 South Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via South Street, North Street (and vice versa)
Redway GLF02, Glebe Farm – From its junction with Dankworth way to its junction with Redway WV08 Wavendon Gate.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Redway GLFG 02 Glebe Farm on the opposite side of the road and Redway WV08 Wavendon Gate (and vice versa).
Buckingham Road, Bletchley (Westbound) – From its junction Brunel Roundabout to its junction with Water Eaton Road..
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Buckingham Road, A421 Standing Way, Watling Street, Bletcham Way, Saxon Street (and vice versa).
Elgar Grove, Browns Wood – From its junction with Delius Close to its junction with Tallis Lane.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Elgar Grove, Tongwell Street and Bletcham Way (and vice versa).
Denmark Street, Bletchley – At the junction of Rowlands Close.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Aylesbury Street and Vicarage Road, Victoria Road (and vice versa).
Avebury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes (Eastbound) – From its junction with Lower Tenth Street to its junction with Secklow Gate.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Secklow Gate, Childs Way and Saxon Gate (and vice versa).
The above Order will come into force on 5th July 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CRANFIELD ROAD AND NEWPORT ROAD, WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1797)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following lengths of road to enable works to be executed on or near the road:
Cranfield Road, Woburn Sands – From its junction with Newport Road to its junction with Deethe Close.
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicles will be via the road to Cranfield Road, Lower End Road, and Newport Road (Vice Versa)
Newport Road, Woburn Sands – From its junction with Cranfield Road to its junction with Chantry Close.
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicles will be via the road to Station Road, Woburn Road, B5704, A507, A421, Newport Road (Vice Versa).
The above Order will come into force on 3rd July 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GRAFTON STREET AND SAXON STREET(PARTS), BLETCHLEY) (WOMENS INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL 2023) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1806)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following lengths of road because of the likelihood of danger to the public and in the interests of safety and as a means of segregating traffic from pedestrians during the Women’s International Football event being staged at the Stadium MK in Milton Keynes:
V7 Saxon Street, Bletchley – from its junction with Groveway to its junction with Bletcham Way
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Bletcham Way, Watling Street, Standing Way (and vice versa)
Grafton Street, Bletchley – from its junction with Redmoor Roundabout to its junction with Granby Roundabout
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Standing Way and Watling Street (and vice versa).
The above Order will come into force on 1st July 2023.
Traffic Regulation Order 8:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 (PART), OLNEY) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1774)
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to exceed the temporary speed limit of 30mph along the following length of road because of the likelihood of danger to the public and in the interests of safety during the Olney Riverfest Festival:
A509, Olney – from a point 75 metres south-west of its junction with Lime Street, Olney, continuing for a distance of 450 metres in a south-westerly direction.
The above Order will come into force on 2nd July 2023.
