B6345 HIGH TOWN TO OLD SWARLAND, SWARLAND
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6345 High Town To Old Swarland, Swarland from its junction with the U3099 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 1011 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th July 2023 until the 7th January 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 7th August 2023 until the 18th August 2023 between the hours of 07:30 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th January 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C390, C106,A697,B6345 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for drainage investigations, new kerbs and edge repairs..
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order
