ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closures Hampton Court Road, Hampton Court

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation and removal of a temporary footbridge and other works in connection with the Hampton Court Garden Festival they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is that a section of Hampton Court Road will be closed to traffic on two occasions as set out below.
2. The section of road to be closed extends from the roundabout outside Hampton Court Palace (the junction of A309 Hampton Court Way and A308 Hampton Court Road) to its junction with Campbell Road, Hampton Court.
3. The dates and times when these road closures are anticipated to be in force are:-

A311 Church Street; High Street, Hampton; High Street, Hampton Hill; A313 Hampton Road; Broad Street; High Street Teddington; A310 Kingston Road; Upper Teddington Road and High Street, Hampton Wick. An alternative route for westbound traffic will be as above but in the reverse direction. This route is not suitable for vehicles over 15 feet and 9 inches (4.8 metres) high on account of a low bridge in High Street, Hampton Wick.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Parking Restrictions Manor Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Manor Road, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Manor Road, Richmond, outside numbers 14-20 Richmond Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 26 June 2023. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 26 June 2023 until 07 July 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

(Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (No. 3) Experimental Order 2023
CHERTSEY ROAD, DEVON AVENUE, DORSET WAY GLOUCESTER ROAD, HEREFORD GARDENS LINCOLN AVENUE, SELKIRK ROAD, AND WILTSHIRE GARDENS

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 June 2023 made the above Order under sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 26 June 2023.
2. The general effect of the Order is to introduce waiting restrictions, operating at any time, and lengths of footway parking, in lengths of Chertsey Road, Devon Avenue, Dorset Way Gloucester Road, Hereford Gardens Lincoln Avenue, Selkirk Road, and Wiltshire Gardens.
3. Copies of particulars giving further details of the scheme: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 23/093, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.
4. In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Assistant Director - Traffic and Engineering of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, as the specified officer, or some person authorised in that behalf by that officer may, if it appears to that officer or to that person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, or of the provision of suitable and adequate parking facilities on the highway, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the areas through which the roads affected by the Order run, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.
5. If the provisions of the Order continue in operation for a period of not less than six months, the Council will consider in due course whether the provisions should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under section 6 of the said Act of 1984. Persons wishing to object to or support the making of such an Order for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may, within the period of six months referred to above (i.e. 29 December 2023) send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds of that objection to the address below.
6. Please address any representations to the Order to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ or by email to TrafficOrders@richmond.gov.uk quoting the reference given above.
7. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

FULWELL PARK AVENUE AREA

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 14 June 2023 made the above Order under sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 26 June 2023.

Temporary Road Closure Ferry Road, Barnes

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ferry Road, Barnes
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Ferry Road, at its western junction with Castelnau.
3. The order will come into effect on 19 June 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 19 June 2023 and 30 June 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Castelnau and Baronsmead Road.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Sandycombe Road Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Sandycombe Road, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Sandycombe Road, from its junction with The Avenue to the Junction with Lawn Crescent.
3. The order will come into effect on 19 June 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 19 June 2023 and 23 June 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sandycombe Road, Lower Mortlake, Kew Road, and Kew Gardens Road and Vice Versa.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
