What is happening?

(STATION ROAD AREA, SOUTH QUEENSFERRY)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC
REGULATION) ORDER 2023 – TEMP/23/141
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on (i) Ashburnham Gdns, at its jnct
with Station Rd; (ii) Ashburnham Loan, at its jnct with Station Rd; (iii) Ashburnham Rd, at its jnct with Station Rd;  (iv) Bankhead Grv, at its jnct with Station Rd; (v) Burdock Rd, at its jnct with Station Rd; (vi) Burgess Rd, at its jnct with Station Rd; (vii) Forth Ter, at its jnct with Station Rd; (viii) Queen Margaret Drv, at its jnct with Station Rd; & (ix) Station Rd: (1) at its jnct with The Loan; & (2) at its jnct with Bankhead Rd; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or
unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of (i) Ashburnham Gdns, from its jnct with Station Rd, northwards for 30m; (ii) Ashburnham Loan, from its jnct with Station Rd, northwards for 30m; (iii) Ashburnham Rd, from its jnct with Station Rd, southwards for 30m; (iv) Bankhead Grv, from its jnct with Station Rd, northwards for 30m; (v) Bankhead Rd, from its jnct with Station Rd, northwards and southwards for 30m respectively; (vi) Burdock Rd, from its jnct with Station Rd, southwards for 30m; (vii) Burgess Rd, from its jnct with Station Rd, south-westwards for 30m; (viii) Forth Ter, from its jnct with Station Rd, southwards for 30m; (ix) Queen Margaret Drv, from its jnct with Station Rd, southwards for 30m; (x) Station Rd, in its entirety; & (xi) The Loan, from its jnct with Station Rd, northwards and southwards for 30m respectively. The Order shall have effect from 26/6/23 to 30/10/23. The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (iii) Ashburnham Rd – Rosebery Ave & Station Rd; (v) Burdock Rd – Station Rd, The Loan, Kirkliston Rd (B907), Scotstoun Ave, Borrowman Sq, Packard St, Hewlett Way, Daybell Loan/Sandercombe Drv & Curlow Gdns; (vi) Burgess Rd – Burgess Rd & The Loan; (viii) Queen Margaret Drv – Lawson Cres, Rosebery Ave & The Loan; & (ix) Station Rd: (1) Kirkliston Rd (B907), Rosebery Ave, Ashburnham Rd & Station Rd; & (2) Bankhead Rd, Main St, Standingstane Rd, Burnshot Rd, Queensferry Rd (B800) & Kirkliston Rd (B907). The following roads are cul-de-sacs and have no available diversion, where local access will be maintained: (i) Ashburnham Gdns; (ii) Ashburnham Loan; (iv) Bankhead Grv & (vii) Forth Ter. Existing restrictions may be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b)
