KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 

(JEREMY LANE, HECKMONDWIKE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jeremy Lane, Heckmondwike from its junction with Albion Street to its junction with Dale Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:- Diversion 1 - via the unaffected length of Jeremy Lane, Northgate, Westgate, Flush, Frost Hill, Leeds Road, White Lee Road, Leeds Old Road, Nunroyd; Diversion 2 - via Nunroyd, Leeds Old Road, White Lee Road, Leeds Road, Frost Hill, Westgate, Flush, Greenside, Northgate, the unaffected length of Jeremy Lane. It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday, 8th July 2023 and remain in force until 15th July 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SUGAR LANE, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Sugar Lane, Dewsbury from its junction with Manor Park Lane to its junction with Leeds Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Sugar Lane, Old Bank Road, Wakefield Road, Dewsbury Ring Road, Leeds Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday, 8th July 2023 and remain in force until 22nd July 2023 (weekend working only) (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CLIFFE LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Cliffe Lane, Gomersal at a point outside Upper Brookhouse Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cliffe Lane, Woodlands Road, Spen Lane, Spen Beck, St Peg Lane, Dewsbury Road, Bradford Road, Balme Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on Saturday, 24th June 2023 between 08:00 - 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HUNSWORTH LANE, EAST BIERLEY, BRADFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hunsworth Lane, East Bierley from its junction with M62 Motorway Bridge to its junction with Lower Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternatives routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hunsworth Lane, Whitehall Road West, Bradford Road, South View Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26th June 2023 and remain in force until 27th June 2023 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up 18 months if necessary).

(SMITHIES MOOR RISE, BIRSTALL, BATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smithies Moor Rise, Birstall from its junction with Smithies Moor Lane to its junction with Lea Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lea Road, Bradford Road, Smithies Moor Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26th June 2023 and remain in force until 28th June 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WELLHOUSE LANE, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wellhouse Lane, Mirfield from its junction with Flash Lane to its junction with Hepworth Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Flash Lane, Dunbottle Lane, Greenside Road, Jenny Lane, Wellhouse Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26th June 2023 and remain in force until 28th June 2023 between 09:30 - 14:30 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(WESTGATE, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westgate, Dewsbury from junction with Tithe Barn Street to its junction with Church Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Tithe Barn Street. It is intended that the closure will commence at 20:00 hours on Thursday, 29th June 2023 and remain in force until 06:00 hours on 30th June 2023 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(OWL LANE, SHAW CROSS, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Owl Lane, Shaw Cross from its junction with John Ormsby V C Way to a point outside the Royal Oak Pub PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Owl Lane, John Ormsby V C Way, Leeds Road, Dewsbury Ring Road, Wakefield Road, Chancery Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 28th June 2023 and remain in force until 30th June 2023 between 20:00 - 06:00 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(OXFORD ROAD/GOMERSAL ROAD, HECKMONDWIKE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Heckmondwike:- Oxford Road - from its junction with Gomersal Road to its junction with Dewsbury Road Gomersal Road - from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Oxford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Leeds Road, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 27th June 2023 and remain in force until 30th June 2023 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours each day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CALDER VIEW/CALDER VIEW EMERGENCYACCESS, LOWER HOPTON, MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Lower Hopton, Mirfield:- Calder View - from a point outside property no. 4 to a point outside property no. 25 Calder View Emergency Access - whole length PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Calder View. Both sides of Calder View will not be closed at the same time. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26th June 2023 and remain in force until 30th June 2023 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
