Stewartby Avenue - One Way Street Order
What is happening?
NOTICE OF PROPOSALS
STEWARTBY AVENUE – ONE WAY STREET ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough
proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1)
to 2(4), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Trafc Regulation Act
1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers. The efect of this Order is to make Stewartby Avenue into one way street in a south-easterly direction from its junction with Four Chimneys Crescent to its junction with West Lake Avenue. All vehicles are therefore prohibited from undertaking the following manoeuvres.
a) entering Stewartby Avenue from its junction with West Lake Avenue
b) a left turn when exiting the Hampton Vale Community Centre car
park road on to Stewartby Avenue.

for proposing to make the Order, can be requested by contacting

If you have any comments on the proposed Order they must be submitted

writing to the undersigned by the closing date of 28th July 2023 clearly
stating your reasons for objecting.
