Sappi Road, Glenrothes - Temporary Road Restrictions
What is happening?
(SAPPI ROAD (WEST MILL), GLENROTHES)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2023
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffc of Sappi Rd (West Mill) (from A911
to Ronald Paton Cres). The Order is to allow housing development
construction works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 01/07/23 to 25/10/24 or until earlier completion of the works. The works
will be carried out in phases. The alternative route for through vehicular traffc will be available for the majority of the closure period via the Persimmons
Housing Development. When the phased works prevent this route from being used, the alternative route for through vehicular traffc will be via
Prestonhall Dr, B9130, A92 and A911. All as indicated by signage on site. Access for emergency service vehicles and to West Mill Cottage will
