What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Croft Street & Town Street, Farsley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Parking Bay Suspension for shuttle lane during Multi-Way Signal works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall Temporarily park along Croft Street and Town Street, Farsley, Leeds, Leeds in the Calverley and Farsley Ward between its junctions with Croft Avenue and New Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: N/A

Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 26th June 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (York Road, Scholes, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Speed Limit reduction to 30mph to help safely manage traffic during the A64 Scholes Lane junction improvement works. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 30mph along York Road, Scholes, Leeds, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Ring Road Whinmoor and Stockheld Lane.

Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 19th June 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
