Sandcliffe Road - Temporary Road Closure For Gas Mains Renewal Work
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SANDCLIFFE ROAD, MIDWAY, SWADLINCOTE
WHEN: 13th July 2023 to 6th August 2023 (00:00 to 23:59)
WHERE: Sandcliffe Road, Midway, Swadlincote between junction of Burton Road, to outside No. 21.
REASON: To facilitate gas mains renewal work.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Burton Road, Hartshorne Road, Woodville Road, Main Street, Repton Road, Brook Street, Netherhall Road, Sandcliffe Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
