TOWNGATE, MAPPLEWELL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Towngate from Darton Lane to New Street, from 19 June 2023 for approximately two weeks.
Reason: Building works.
An alternative route is available via: Towngate/Greenside/New Road/Broadway.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Underbank Lane from Tofts Lane to Hunshelf Road, from 23 June 2023 for approximately one day.
Reason: Tree pruning.
An alternative route is available via: Underbank Lane/A616/Flouch Roundabout/A628/Hartcliff Road/Hartcliff Hill Road/Cranberry Road/Salter Hill Lane.

TEMPORARY ONE-WAY RESTRICTION
An order has been made to introduce a one-way restriction on Edward Street, allowing traffic to travel from Royston Hill towards Coronation Road only, from 19 June 2023 for approximately three weeks.
Reason: Works to electric service.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Bloemfontein Street Back Road, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the rear of house number 41 Bloemfontein Street, from 19 June 2023 for approximately five days.
Reason: Drainage connection.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION
An order will be made to introduce the below restrictions on Bark House Lane, from 26 June 2023 for approximately 2 weeks.
· Temporary 40mph from Lane Head Road to 20 metres before Cascade Bridge
· Temporary 20mph 20 metres either side of Cascade Bridge
· Temporary 40mph Garden Centre to New Road

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order will be made to close the following roads on a phased basis, from 26 June 2023 for approximately 3 months:
· Hey Slack Lane: From Windmill Lane to Slack Top Lane
· Hog Close Lane: From Slack Top Lane to Lower Maythorn Lane
· Slack Top Lane: From Hey Slack Lane to Hog Close Lane
Reason: New connections.
An alternative route is available via: Lower Maythorn Lane/Brown’s Edge Road/Broadstone Road/Windmill Lane.

PARK STREET/HIGH STREET, WOMBWELL
TEMPORARY ONE-WAY RESTRICTION
An order has been made to introduce the following one-way restrictions from 17 June 2023 for approximately 5 weeks:
· (1) Park Street/High Street – one way restriction between Mayflower Way and Station Road, allowing traffic to travel from Mayflower Way towards Station Road only.
· (2) High Street – one way restriction between Station Road and George Street, allowing traffic to travel from Station Road towards George Street only.
The restrictions will be implemented on a phased basis and the two restrictions will not be in place at the same time.
Restrictions will be in place overnight only between 1900 and 0500 and will not be in place on Saturday nights.
Reason: Highway works.

(1) Station Road/Station Road Roundabout/Mayflower Way
(2) Cemetery Road/Summer Lane/Church Street

WESTWAY, BARNSLEY
TEMPORARY ONE-WAY RESTRICTION
An order will be made to introduce:
· a one-way restriction on Westway, Barnsley between Townend Roundabout and Alhambra Roundabout, allowing traffic to travel from Townend Roundabout towards Alhambra Roundabout only
· a one-way restriction on Westway, Barnsley between Alhambra Roundabout and Townend Roundabout, allowing traffic to travel from Alhambra Roundabout towards Townend Roundabout only
Restrictions will be in place from 26 June 2023 for approximately 4 weeks. Roads to be closed between 1900 and 0500 only, as required. Only one carriageway to be closed at once, all closures will be on a phased basis.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing.

LITTLE HOUGHTON FOOTPATH NO. 7
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
An order will be made to close Little Houghton footpath no.7 where it crosses the bridge over the A6195 near ASOS commencing on the 29 June 2023.
Reason: Unsafe footbridge.

DEARNE BRIDLEWAY NUMBER 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
An order will be made to close Dearne bridleway number 14 from Railway Terrace to its junction with bridleway 34 on the west of the railway line for week commencing 26 June 2023.
Reason: Railway bridge inspection scheduled for Tuesday 27 June 2023 between 9am to 5pm and expected to take 1 day.

(AS AMENDED)

PENISTONE BRIDLEWAY NO. 110
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Secretary of State has authorised a further extension of the above named Order to close the section of Penistone bridleway no. 110 which crosses Manchester Road at Millhouse Green (via Bullhouse Bridge) from 23rd June 2023 for a further 12 months.
Alternative access is provided via the adjacent ramp, Manchester Road and Bullhouse Lane.
Reason: Safety works on the bridge.
