Madeira Road, Temporary No Waiting At Any Time Due To Highway Works
What is happening?
MADEIRA ROAD - HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: No parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Southern side of Madeira Road, adjacent to Livingstone Academy, for a distance of approx. 46m (Suspension of Payment Parking Bays and Disabled Parking Bay - entire length)
WHY: To ensure that the existing parking bays continue to be suspended once the hoarding has been removed, to allow for Highway Improvement Works - Kier
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 3rd July 2023 until 22nd December 2023
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
