What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - UPPER BROOK STREET, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Upper Brook Street between its junction with B3331 Friarsgate and a point approx. 35 metres North.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3331, Parchment Street, B3330

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th June 2023 for a period of 14 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for the entire duration of the works).

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out. Telephone inquires to: Hampshire County Council, Roads and Transport 0300 555 1388.
