U9706 BRISTOL STREET ST MICHAELS AVENUE NEW HARTLEY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland.
U9706 Bristol Street from its junction with St. Michaels Avenue heading south west for a distance of 415 metres.
U9706 St. Michaels Avenue from its junction with Bristol Street heading south east for a distance of 145 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th June 2023 until the 30th December 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th June 2023 until the 16th June 2023 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th December 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Double Row, Astley Road, The Avenue and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to install speed humps on the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
