(Chapel Lane, Warmley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles,     Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Chapel Lane which extends from a point 77m north of High Street northwards for 43m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon water main works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 12 June 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration. Alternative route: High Street, Stanley Road, Chapel Lane (parts unaffected) and vice versa 

(School Road, Warmley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, pedal cycles and equestrians the entire length of School Road. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon sluice valve installation works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 13 June 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.

(Church Road, Winterbourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Church Road which extends from Mill Road to Frome Glen. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with new electricity service works. The order will be operative from 3 July 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration. Alternative route: Dragon Road, Mill Road and vice versa 

(High Street – Westbound, Staple Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of the westbound carriageway of High Street which extends from Victoria Road westwards for 70m. This order was required for the following reason: in connection with new water connection works. The order became operative from 14 June 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 nights duration, between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Alternative route: Victoria Road, North Street, Downend Road

(Church Road, Frampton Cotterell) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Church Road which extends from Bristol Road south eastwards for 380m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works. The order will be operative from 3 July 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 12 nights duration, between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Alternative route: Church Road (parts unaffected), Bristol Road, Yate Road, Stover Road, Badminton Road, Church Road and vice versa

(Conham Hill, Hanham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Conham Hill which extends from Lime Road westwards for 20m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon gas main replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 3 July 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 5 days duration.

(Dundry Close, Kingswood) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Foot Passengers, Pedal Cycles and Equestrians) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Dundry Close which extends from a point 15m east of Court Road eastwards for 21m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon lead replacement works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 5 July 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Tanhouse Lane which extends from Limekiln Road westwards for 480m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon railway maintenance works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 7 July 2023 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to take place on the dates specified in Column 1 of the Schedule to this notice and to be of the hours specified in Column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an order the effect of which will be to – 1. institute, temporarily, one way traffic working in the lengths of road specified in column 1 of Schedule 1 to this order to proceed in any direction other than that specified in relation to that length of road in column 2 of the said Schedule, between the hours 0700 hours on 2 July 2023 and 0300 hours on 3 July 2023 and between 0700 hours on 16 July 2023 and 0300 hours on 17 July 2023.
