What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PARISH OF BELLINGHAM PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 17 (TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) and (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the use of Parish of Bellingham Public Footpath No 17, in the County of Northumberland will be prohibited as follows: From the C201 road at the junction with the U5090 road in a general northerly direction for a distance of 2240 metres passing by the old Ironside workings and crossing and recrossing the Hareshaw Burn via a number of footbridges to a point south of Hareshaw Linn Waterfall. There is no alternative route available.
