Ferndale Avenue, Great Barr - Experimental order no driving or parking by school

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Ferndale Avenue, Great Barr) (School Streets Experimental Order) 2023 has made the order to:- 1) Introduce a school street experimental order along the length of Ferndale Avenue, Great Barr (from its junction with Appleton Avenue). To prohibit vehicles driving and parking along Ferndale Avenue, Great Barr, Mon-Fri, 08:15-09:00 and 14:45-15:30 during school term time. 

Full details may be examined at the offices of the Head of Legal Services, Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, West Midlands, B69 3DE, during normal office hours. The order was made on 6/6/23, and shall come into effect on 13/6/23, for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of its operation. 

The council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely, that within a period of 6 months: (a) beginning 13/6/23; or (b) if the order has been varied by another order or modified beginning with the day on which the variation or modification of the latest variation or modification came into force.
