Dancers Hill Road, Temporary Waiting Restrictions Due To Works On The Road

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL: (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DANCERS HILL ROAD, BARNET) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dancers Hill Road, Barnet from its junction with A1000 Barnet Road south westwards to its junction with the A1081 St Albans Road/Trotters Bottom roundabout, a distance of approximately 2321m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A1000 (Barnet Road/Great North Road/Barnet Road/Hadley Highstone/Hadley Green/Great North Road/High Road) and A1081 St Albans Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 June 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
