Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Green Hill London Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and sides of road in Worcester:
Green Hill London Road (South east side): From a point 39 metres south west of its junction with A44 London Road for a distance of 74 metres in a south westerly direction. (North west side): From a point 57 metres south west of its junction with Prospect Place for a distance of 6.5 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. On 11 May 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-
Northwick Road (East side): from its junction with Vine Street for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction.
Vine Street (Both sides): from its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2023.
