Proposed Order: to close that part of U52309 St Dunstans Crescent from its junction with U52131 Battenhall Road to its junction with U52309 Green Hill London Road.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52309 Green Hill London Road, A44 London Road, U52131 Battenhall Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

(U51246 Fairfield Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of U51246 Fairfield Close from its junction with U51214 Langdale Drive to its junction with U51255 Wigton Place.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U51256 Carnforth Drive, U51200 Windermere Drive, U51214 Langdale Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54263 School Road from its junction with B4485 Bransford Road to its junction with U54262 Pitmaston Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4485 Bransford Road, B4206 Malvern Road, U54262 Pitmaston Road and vice versa.

(U54263 Summer Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54263 Summer Street from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with U50215 Crown Street.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50215 Crown Street, A38 Droitwich Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

(C2225 North Piddle Lane, Naunton Beauchamp) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2225 North Piddle Lane from its junction with U43200 North Piddle Lane for a distance of 95 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2225 North Piddle Lane, B4082 Naunton Lane, B4082 Pershore Road, A422 Worcester Road, C2010 New Road, C2010 Radford Road, C2225 Bishampton Road, C2225 North Piddle Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

(U54122 Sapphire Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54122 Sapphire Crescent from its junction with U54123 Penhill Crescent to its junction with U54121 Brookside Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54151 Happy Land West from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with U54147 Lambert Road.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U62416 Peachley Lane from its junction with U62417 Church Lane to its junction with U62418 Peachley Gardens.

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62417 Church Lane, B4204 Sailors Bank, U62416 Peachley Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days.

(C2086 Ladywood Road, Salwarpe) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of C2086 Ladywood Road from its junction with U41201 Copcut Lane to its junction with C2086 Hadley Heath to C21396 Ladywood Road

Reason: Laying of new ducting by Fullfibre.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2086 Copcut Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, C2139 Church Lane, C2139 Strand Lane. C2139 Ladywood Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days. Commencing: 29 May 2023.

(C2287 St Peters Drive, St. Peter The Great County) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2287 St Peters Drive from its junction with C2287 Queenswood Drive for a distance of 390 metres in a south-westerly direction.

Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2287 St Peters Drive, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road, C2287 St Peters Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 24 days.

Commencing: 21 June 2023.

(U54042 Lechmere Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: to close that part of U54042 Lechmere Crescent from its junction with A443 Hallow Road for a distance of 27 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Laying of new ducting by Grub Construction Limited. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A443 Hallow Road, U54042 Lechmere Crescent and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 19 June 2023.

(U64209 Rectory Lane, Shrawley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of U64209 Rectory Lane from its junction with U64210 Rectory Lane to its junction with U64208 Shrawley.

Order made: to close that part of U62240 Chapel Lane from its junction with A4103 Bransford to its junction with U662410 Chapel Lane.

Reason: Drainage – new connection across carriageway by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4103 Bransford, U62240 Chapel Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

(C2067 Bell Lane, Lower Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of C2067 Bell Lane from its junction with C2066 Broadheath Common for a distance of 228 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2066 Broadheath Common, C2066 Crown East Lane, A44 Bromyard Road, B4206 Henwick Road, A443 Henwick Road, B4204 Martley Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

(B4638 Woodgreen Drive, Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: to close that part of B4638 Woodgreen Drive from its junction with B4638 roundabout with Millwood Drive to its junction with B4638 roundabout with Dugdale Drive.

Reason: Construction of new Toucan Crossing and resurfacing of footway and carriageway by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4638 Woodgreen Drive (northbound), B4639 Berkley Way, A4440 Parsonage Way, A4440 Trotshill Way, A4440 Grange Way, B4636 Woodgreen Drive to Nunnery Way and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 31 May 2023.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on Green Hill London Road, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and sides of road in Worcester:

Green Hill London Road (South east side): From a point 39 metres south west of its junction with A44 London Road for a distance of 74 metres in a south westerly direction. (North west side): From a point 57 metres south west of its junction with Prospect Place for a distance of 6.5 metres in a south westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Linksview Crescent: (east side) from a point 46 metres south of its junction with for a distance of 41 metres in a southerly direction; (west side) from a point 10 metres south of its junction with for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.

Restriction of Waiting (8am- 5.30pm Mon-Fri) Linksview Crescent (east side) from a point 10 metres south of its junction with for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.

Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting – Ripon Road (south side) from a point 97 metres west of its eastern junction with Canterbury Road for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction.

On 11 May 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-

Northwick Road (East side): from its junction with Vine Street for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction.

Vine Street (Both sides): from its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2023.
