What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along the following stretches of roads on the dates and times stipulated: 

It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 5 June 2023 until the 30 July 2023 (approximately):

 l Lambert Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Cannock Road, Raynor Road, Inchlaggan Road and vice versa. 

It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 3 July 2023 until the 27 August 2023 (approximately):

 l Victoria Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Cannock Road, Bushbury Road and vice versa. 

It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 30 July 2023 until the 18 August 2023 (approximately):

 l Warren Avenue closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Eastcote Road, Kennington Road and vice versa. 

It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 21 August 2023 until the 8 September 2023 (approximately):

 l Kennington Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion routes are: Eastcote Road, Warren Avenue and vice versa.

 It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 11 September 2023 until the 1 October 2023 (approximately):

 l Eastcote Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Kennington Road, Warren Avenue and vice versa.

 It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 2 October 2023 until the 27 November 2023 (approximately):

 l Norbury Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Eastcote Road, Mandale Road, Raynor Road, Park Lane and vice versa. 

It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 27 November 2023 until the 28 January 2024 (approximately): 

l Inchlaggan Road closed in both directions between its junctions with Norbury Road and Raynor Road. The vehicular diversion route is: Raynor Road, Park Lane, Norbury Road and vice versa. 

l Leslie Road closed its entire length in both directions. The vehicular diversion route is: Cannock Road, Powell Street and vice versa.

 It is anticipated that the below road closure will be in place from the 1 January 2024 until the 18 February 2024 (approximately): 

l Inchlaggan Road closed in both directions between its junctions with Raynor Road and Cannock Road. The vehicular diversion route is: Cannock Road, Raynor Road and vice versa.
