What is happening?

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Marr – 29.05.23) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2023” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

A rolling programme of surface dressing works at a number of sites will be carried out from 29.05.23 until 29.10.23. The order will introduce a road closure during surface dressing application, with a 20mph speed limit (with 40mph transitional zone as applicable) during preparatory works, and post application aftercare and lining and studding works. It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site, however the restrictions will only be in force when signs indicative of the closure/speed limits are displayed at the location.
