Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 drwy hyn yn gorchymyn a chyfarwyddo y dylid cadw at ddibenion y rheoliadau fel a ganlyn:
Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 6ed Mehefin 2023 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 6ed Mehefin Mai 2023, gan weithredu rhwng 09:30 a 15:30.
Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu BT Openreach i wneud gwaith polio mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol/heolydd ar gau.
Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Hen Heol Henffordd, y Fenni, Sir Fynwy.
Roedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Hen Heol Henffordd, A465, Heol Llys Llanfihangel, R1 Llanfihangel Crucornau i Frynarw, Heol Cwm, R4 Fferm Pont Esgob i Fferm Middle Bettws, R4 Fferm Middle Bettws i’r Great Gott, R4 Great Gott i Bantygelli ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Hen Heol Henffordd, y Fenni, Sir Fynwy 2023.
Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Section 14 - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Monmouthshire County Council
(Old Hereford Road, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire) Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2023
Notice Is Hereby Given that Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 do hereby order and direct that for the purpose of the following regulations shall be observed:
The Order came into operation on the 6th June 2023 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 6th June 2023, operating between 09:30 – 15:30.
The order was necessary for BT Openreach works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Old Hereford Road, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
A signed diversionary route is in place as follows: Old Hereford Road, A465, Llanvihangel Court Road, R1 Llanfihangel Crucorney to Brynarw, Cwm Road, R4 Pont Esgob Farm to Middle Bettws Farm, R4 Middle Bettws Farm to Great Gott, R4 Great Gott to Pantygelli and vice versa.
This order may be cited as the Old Hereford Road, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2023
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
