ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Holly Road, Twickenham

(Reference 23/074)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road from the junction with Copthall Gardens to the western boundary rear of 64-66 Heath Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 22 May 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 22 May 2023 and 26 May 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Copthall Gardens and Heath Road.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate lead pipe replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Beaconsfield Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road from the junction with Crown Road to the junction with Amyand Park Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 22 May 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 22 May 2023 and 16 June 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Amyand Park Road, St Margarets Road (Crown Rd) and Vice Versa.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate lead pipe replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Michelham Gardens, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Michelham Gardens from the junction with Strawberry Vale For approximately 15 meters.

3. No person shall cause any vehicle to wait or stand in Strawberry Vale between a point outside No, 1A and a point outside No. 10.

4. The order will come into effect on 23 May 2023. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 23 May 2023 and 24 May 2023. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Michelham Gardens and Strawberry Vale.

7. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
