Bromyard Road, Temporary Speed Restrictions Due To Drainage Works

What is happening?

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: B4214 Bromyard Road, Ledbury, approximately 135m either side of the development entrance, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30mph on the following roads: B4214 Bromyard Road. Grid Ref: 370293/239316 to 370059/239525. The said restriction is required due to drainage works on or near said roads and the likelihood of danger to the public while works are being carried out. The said restriction will be in place for approximately 12 months and will come into force on 5th June 2023. However, the restriction may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
