U9516 TWELFTH AVENUE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9516 Twelfth Avenue from its junction with Plessey Road heading north westwards for a distance of 202 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th May 2023 until the 30th November 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates:
30/05/2023 to 19/06/2023 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00;
25/09/2023 to 29/09/2023 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00;
The Order however, will remain in place until 30th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Plessey Road, Broadway, Broadway Circle, Princess Louise Road, First Avenue, Eighth Avenue, Twelfth Avenue and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout civils and resurfacing works in the carriageway.
