(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland.
A189 Spine Road Woodhorn Roundabout To District Boundary from its junction with A189 Woodhorn Roundabout heading northwards for a distance of 326 metres.
A189 Spine Road Woodhorn Roundabout To District Boundary from its junction with A197 Spine Road to Woodhorn Crossroads heading westwards for a distance of 954 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A189, A1068 A197 and vice versa.
A197 Spine Road to Woodhorn Crossroads from its junction with A189 Spine Road Woodhorn Roundabout To District Boundary heading westwards for a distance of 368 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A197 B1334 and vice versa.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th May 2023 until the 30th November 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th May 2023 until the 19th May 2023 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th November 2023.
