NO STOPPING RESTRICTIONS IN CHURCH ROAD, SW19
THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 515) ORDER 2023
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 25 April 2023, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order will be to amend the Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that a 24 hour clearway will be created in the road or length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice and vehicles will be prohibited from stopping or remaining at rest at any time in that road or length of road.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 2 May 2023, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the road or length of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, SM4 5DX and at the Wimbledon Library, 35 Wimbledon Hill Road, Wimbledon SW19 7NB. Information is also available at www. merton.gov.uk/churchrd.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 24 April 2023, made the above-mentioned Orders under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-
(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway at each of the locations listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice, in which vehicles authorised by the Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking places will operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc;
(e) revoke the redundant disabled persons parking places at each of the locations listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice;
(f) revoke the Merton (Free Parking Places (Disabled Persons) (No. 247) Order 2020 made on 16 September 2020 and re-enact its provisions.
3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders will be to shorten in length existing permit only parking places to facilitate the introduction of disabled persons parking place in certain roads or increase in length existing permit only parking places following the removal of disabled parking places in certain roads.
4. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 8 May 2023, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the roads or lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours Mondays to Fridays, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

PROVISION OF A PEDAL CYCLE PARKING PLACE IN WIMBLEDON BRIDGE
THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (PEDAL CYLES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2023
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 25 April 2023, make the above-mentioned Order under the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places' Order would be to designate a parking place on the carriageway at the location specified in the Schedule to this Notice for the leaving of pedal cycles (including electric assisted pedal cycles) being used in a public hire scheme operated in accordance with an agreement with the Council.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 9 May 2023, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the road or length of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, SM4 5DX and at the Wimbledon Library, 35 Wimbledon Hill Road, Wimbledon SW19 7NB.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) remove the length of parking place described in Schedule 1 to this notice to facilitate the construction of a footway build-out as part of safety improvements at the junction of Lyveden Road with Robinson Road;
(b) introduce a no waiting 'at any time' restriction (double yellow lines waiting restriction) in the roads or lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;
(c) update the traffic order descriptions of the road layout in Lyveden Road and Robinson Road.
3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the roads or lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden. 4. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(GREENWAY. SW20) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate main sewer repair works in Greenway, SW20, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Greenway, between the common boundary of Nos. 30 and 32 Greenway and Nos. 58 and 60 Greenway; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in subparagraph 2(a) above.
3. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using one or more of the following roads:- Crossway, Grand Drive(B279) and Westway.
4. The restriction and suspension would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions o1 the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in this Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. The Order would come into force on Tuesday 16th May 2023, with the works anticipated to be undertaken over two days. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(COPSE HILL AND HILLYARD PLACE, SW20) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable Thames Water works in Copse Hill, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road and in Hillyard Place.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle: -
(a) proceeding westbound in Copse Hill to turn left into Hillyard Place; or
(b) proceeding northbound in Hillyard Place to turn right into Copse Hill;
(c) to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicles, in Copse Hill from its junction with Thurstan Road to the common boundary of Nos. 80 and 82 Copse Hill.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Copse Hill specified in sub-paragraph 2(c) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibited turns should proceed using Copse Hill, Coombe Lane, Coombe Lane Flyover, Coombe Lane West, Beverley Way, Robin Hood Way, Combe Lane West(eastbound), Coombe Lane Flyover(eastbound), Coombe Lane(eastbound) and Copse Hill(eastbound).
6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
8. The Order would come into operation on Thursday 25th May 2023 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed the following day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.
