(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6342 Rothley Cross Roads To Rothbury from its junction with C144 to its junction with C145 for a distance of 7895 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th May 2023 until the 15th November 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th May 2023 until the 17th May 2023 between the hours of 09:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 15th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C144, C145 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for safety scheme including patching, drainage and signage works.
