What is happening?

(Mumfords Hill, Wethersfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mumfords Hill, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Beazley End to its junction with Rotten End a distance of approximately 850m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th May 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2337864 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage/ironworks replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Blackmore End, Gosfield Road, Oak Hill, Mumfords Hill and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 20th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Birdbrook) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Birdbrook in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 245m south west of its junction with Fell Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th May 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30092269895 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Baythorne End, Ridgewell Road, Four Ash Hill, The Causeway, Chapel Road, Drury Lane, Stambourne Road, Wesley End Road, Mill Road, Chapel End Way and vice versa (with access only into Station Road and Birdbrook Road).

The Order will come into effect on 20th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Thames Close, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Thames Close, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chelmer Road to its end a distance of approximately 185m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th May 2023 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N7103DIS143440-1 - Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

(Witham Road, Terling & Dancing Dicks Lane/Blunts Hall Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Witham Road, Terling & Dancing Dicks Lane/Blunts Hall Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Terling Road to the junction with Spinks Lane a distance of approximately 3040m. The Closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2338422 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage/ ironwork replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Terling Road, Powers Hall End, Spa Road, Highfields Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 20th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chalks Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Temporary Suspension of One Way) (Church Street, Witham) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Chalks Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Street to its junction with St Nicholas Road a distance of approximately 115m.

2. To temporarily suspend the one way in that length of Church Street, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Chalks Road to its junction with Chipping Hill as cited in "The Essex County Council (Various Streets, Witham) (One Way Traffic) Order 2001," for the duration of the above closure only.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2334001 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage and replacement ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Church Street, Chipping Hill, Braintree Road, Chalks Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 6th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Foxearth Road, Liston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Foxearth Road, Liston in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road to its junction with Liston Lane a distance of approximately 800m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA005RDG-4467-LR - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway defect works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.

Alternative routes are available via: Halstead Road, Borley Road, Rodbridge Hill, Station Road, Southgate Street, Little St Marys, Liston Lane, OR Liston Lane, St Catherines Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 6th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hillside Gardens, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hillside Gardens, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road to its junction with Stephenson Road a distance of approximately 235m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2337867 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage/ironworks replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order came into effect on 6th April 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Marks Gardens, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Marks Gardens, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Warren Road for a distance of approximately 290m to its end of highway. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2023 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N7103DIS143477-8 -Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Milton Avenue, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Masefield Road for a distance of approximately 235m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2340817 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Queen Street, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Gardeners Row for a distance of approximately 25m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA71103001RC - Openreach). The scheduled dates may

vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Queen Street, Vane Lane, Church Street, Stoneham Street and vice versa.

(Ranks Green Road, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ranks Green Road, Fairstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Fairstead Lodge Road to its junction with Mill Lane a distance of approximately 1230m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2023 for 16 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA005/567710/02 - Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway excavation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited.

(Skye Green Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Skye Green Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 100m south west of its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010696204 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Old Road, Wills Green, Hanover Square, The Street, Coggeshall Road and vice versa (with access only into Skye Green Road).

(Station Road, White Notley/Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley/Cressing in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Vicarage Avenue to the junction with Witham Road a distance of approximately 1420m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th April 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2338407 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole; drainage and carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Terling Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Terling Road, Witham in the District Braintree, from its junction with Peg Millars Lane, to its junction with Powers Hall Road a distance of approximately 1735m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2023 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329607 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
