A630 Rotherham Gateway - temporary prohibition of through traffic
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
PART OF A630 ROTHERHAM GATEWAY EUROPA LINK
ENTRY SLIP ROAD ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order
the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that
part of A630 Rotherham Gateway Europa Link entry slip road from the
Europa Link roundabout to the end of the entry slip road on the A630
Rotherham Gateway eastbound on the following three occasions:-
Saturday 15/04/23 20:00hrs to Sunday 16/04/23 06:00hrs
Saturday 08/07/23 20:00hrs to Sunday 09/07/23 06:00hrs
Saturday 07/10/23 20:00hrs to Sunday 08/10/23 06:00hrs
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected
by the Order is via B6533 Poplar way, A630 Rotherham Gateway and
Sheffield Parkway, westbound, ‘U’ turn at the Handsworth interchange,
and A630 Sheffield Parkway and Rotherham Gateway eastbound.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed
to be executed on or near the road (Routine Maintenance Works).
